User's guide / Mark #3: validation of the HTML/CSS code
This mark is based on the degree of compliance with HTML and CSS web-page standards of
World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).
As a result of the analysis, the program displays information about the discrepancies to standards,
found on the web-page as a list of errors and warnings, which includes:
- Full URL of the object
- Line of the error/warning
- Column of the error/warning
When you click on a line with information about the error/warning, you can see the details and recommendations for its elimination.
Each error reduces the mark on this criterion by 0.1 points, and a warning reduces the mark by 0.05 points. |
